Christopher Tucker

CEO

Christopher Tucker’s career has spanned research and development, business planning and strategy, technology and telecom sector finance, investment banking, and venture capital. He founded Tucker & Partners in 1999, and has subsequently built the business into an international management services and consulting firm.

Prior to founding Tucker & Partners, Christopher had spent most of his career in investment banking, where he specialized in the telecommunications and technology sectors and held director / vice president level roles in investment research or corporate finance for investment banks, including Kleinwort Benson, Banque Indosuez, Banque Paribas, and WestLB. As an analyst, he worked on most of the IPOs in the European telecom sector in the mid 1990s. Christopher spent his early career in the UK electricity industry, initially as a research physicist and later as a strategic planner.

Christopher has an M.A. in Physics from Oxford University and an M.Sc. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from London University. He is also a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Physicist, a Member of the Institute of Management Consultancy, and an Affiliate Member of the Securities Institute.


Robert Flintoff

Robert is an experienced finance director with extensive international experience in rapidly growing technology and IT companies. During his career, Robert has been involved in three successful IPOs and is experienced in mergers and acquisitions, setting up international operations, financial control, tax, and treasury issues. Robert is also experienced in providing interim finance director services to small and medium-sized companies in the technology and IT sectors.

Robert spent five years as VP Finance EMEA at Peregrine Systems, where he was involved in the company’s IPO in 1997. While at Peregrine, Robert supervised exceptional growth over several European countries. Prior to that, Robert spent nine years with BMC Software, a Texas-based company that was expanding into Europe. As VP of International Finance, Robert controlled the growth of the business across 12 companies in Europe and Asia and implemented several acquisitions. While at BMC Software, the company grew its annual sales from $25m to over $500m and the number of its employees from 20 to 500. Robert spent his early career as Finance/Commercial Director with Geac Computers, a Canadian banking and library systems provider. In his six years with the company, he was responsible for setting up several UK and European subsidiaries and working on high value commercial contracts internationally.

Robert studied Management Sciences at Warwick University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloittes.


William Butterfield

William Butterfield

Senior Associate, Government Marketing

Bill leads Tucker & Partners’ government marketing team, and is a specialist in government marketing, government proposal development and GSA contracts.

Bill has 22 years of Executive Branch and federal contracting business development experience. He served for six years as a White House aide in the Reagan and Bush (the elder) Administrations, including appointment to Associate Director of Cabinet Affairs in the Bush White House, with liaison responsibilities for the Transportation Department, Department of Veterans Affairs, GSA, NASA, OPM, and USIA.

Since 1993, he has supported clients in winning over $50 billion in new business through successful business development, marketing, and proposal development and writing. In addition to supporting several Fortune 500 companies, he works with small, entrepreneurial companies in pursuing federal, state, and local work via the GSA Schedule and individual proposal opportunities. He is most active in the Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Energy, and Department of Homeland Security markets.

Bill has a Bachelors degree with honors in History from the University of Dallas and has extensive training in quality control, lean management, Six Sigma, and project management.


Giles Howson

Giles Howson

Senior Associate, Government Marketing

Giles is an experienced business developer in the federal government market. He is a specialist in proposal and business development and led contract capture, teaming, and proposal efforts for many large contractors to the federal government, mostly with engineering, security services providers and IT/telecoms integrators from both the US and the UK. Giles has worked with both civilian and military agencies, including USAID, the Departments of State, Defense and Homeland Security.

Prior to his consulting activities, Giles served as a business development manager for Raytheon, where he managed and participated in capture and proposal efforts for a wide variety of opportunities. Giles successfully headed several proposal teams leading to contract wins of over $100m. Giles also spent two years a Deputy Country Manager for Raytheon Technical Services Company in Kiev, Ukraine, where he was responsible for both business development and program management.

Prior to Raytheon, Giles served ten years in the British Army in operational roles within the Household Cavalry, and also as Staff Officer to the Military Attaché in the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Giles holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in French and Russian from Oxford University and speaks both languages fluently. He is also a graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst in the UK.


Anna Kinworthy

Anna is a senior level marketing professional with more than 12 years experience working with ‘C’ level executives and managing marketing departments internationally. Anna is highly experienced in building and implementing successful marketing plans for global blue-chip corporations, as well as for early stage businesses. She has worked in many different B2B and B2G industries in the UK, US and Continental Europe, either in-house or as an external consultant for large corporations including Cable & Wireless, Freddie Mac, GTSI, and Panasonic.

Although Anna has in-depth experience of market analysis, strategy, and market entry planning, her main focus is on the more practical and customer-facing aspects of marketing, including product launch, marketing program management, account development, channel development, and cross- and up-selling programs. Anna is also experienced in all aspects of direct mail and email marketing campaigns, including list rental, testing, measurement and lead management.

Anna is originally from the UK, but also lived and worked in Spain for several years and is a fluent Spanish speaker. She has a bachelors degree in Spanish and Public Media from Leeds University and a DipM Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from London Guildhall University.


Limor Schafman

Limor Schafman

Senior Associate, Business Development

Limor is an experienced technology marketing specialist and entrepreneur, as well as being a qualified lawyer. Limor has broadly-based business and venture development skills in the technology sector, with an emphasis on IT, software, communications, mobile communications and the internet.

Limor began her marketing business career in 1994 in the sector of digital media and entertainment technology in Los Angeles, working in the production of two full motion video games for the publishers Capcom and Groliers, and then joining the executive team of a theme-park design/build company, Spectra Entertainment, Inc., as Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Limor is on the international committee of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, contributes to various committees of the Greater Washington Board of Trade., is president of the IPv6 Forum for Israel, and sits on the Steering Committee of the International Association of Space Entrepreneurs. Limor is also a frequent guest speaker at technology conferences and seminars throughout the US.

Limor has a BA from University of Pennsylvania, a JD from the Boston University School of Law, and is a member of the California, New York and Massachusetts state bars. She is also an alumna of the Anderson School, UCLA Executive Program for Business Management.


Mark Vida

Mark Vida

Senior Associate, Business Development and Sales

Mark has held senior positions within global communications equipment companies and leading-edge technology companies, and has assisted companies in successfully penetrating global and North American technology markets for more than 20 years. Mark is also on the board of Microwave Networks, Inc. a Texas based international global wireless equipment provider.

Mark held key sales, general management and board positions within ECI Telecom, one of Israel’s premier telecommunications companies. Most recently he was VP and General Manager of Enavis Networks, a US subsidiary, where he was responsible for directing the company from its first US sales to annual revenues in excess of $60m.Prior to that, Mark spent eight years with NEC America Inc., where he held senior sales positions, including Director, Corporate Sales. In that role, Mark was responsible for managing the sales teams selling a portfolio of over 1200 products into the US government, commercial organizations and telecom markets. While at NEC America, Mark was also responsible for managing federal government and OEM contract departments resulting in a substantial increase in revenues. Mark spent his early career in sales positions with Ericsson Information Systems and M/A-COM, Inc. based in North America.

Mark received bachelors and masters degrees from Boston College, and attended various postgraduate programs at the Babson College Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
